Kerry & Charlie

Kerry and her husband have been what she describes as “chronically homeless” in Portland, spending the majority of the last 15 years outdoors. They found PAW Team in 2017 when seeking wellness care for their young pup, Rosie. Sadly, just a couple years later, PAW Team was providing comfort care for Rosie after a diagnosis of lymphoma devastated this bonded family.

When Kerry met Charlie, she knew they were ready to open their hearts again. She also knew where to go for Charlie's care; vaccines, flea control, medication to help her aching joints and even grooming days. All the things to keep her happy, healthy and floofy, for as long as possible!

An exciting update: Since this video was filmed only a few months ago, Kerry and her husband have moved into an apartment! Kerry is working part time through a local nonprofit, and celebrating nearly 2 years of sobriety. “I believe that I’m a better person because of Charlie.”
